Oh, do we love a good collaboration. There is nothing more fun than seeing a team of wedding professionals let their hair down and design something truly unique— and we were able to do just that with our fab team involved in this shoot. This beauty is featured over on Rocky Mountain Bride today here and we are so thrilled to finally share the inspiration with you.
Our shoot was inspired by the beautifully quaint setting of a local flower farm, the Fresh Herb Company, in Longmont, Colorado. The property provided us with endless color and gorgeous views in every direction.
Meet Anna + Bryan. There is no denying they’re 1000% in love which made them the perfect choice for our ‘real couple’ models. At the time, Bryan was destined for USCG training which meant they would be pushed into a long distance relationship in their first year of married life together. These two signed up with us so they would have photos to remind each other of their love while they were separated by distance. The entire evening spent with them was effortless, beautiful, and filled with love and laughter.
Our jobs allow us the freedom to be creative outside of our real weddings but there’s still nothing better than making sure true love is portrayed in all the things we do.
We aimed to create a timeless look for all seasons incorporating dark blues and black against neutral white tones with bright pops of orange for our intimate table setting for 4. We love using texture for added dimension and brought that element into our design with driftwood and concrete floral vases, marbled plates, chiffon, vintage glassware, and a playful mix of poufs for seating.
We wanted to create separate spaces with distinction. Along with MJM Designs and Wallflower Rentals, we were able to pull together the coziest lounge setting to complement the surrounding flower gardens– even creating a faux lamp with a floral lampshade to accent our lounge setting in the gardens.
The flower gardens and greenhouse provided a simply romantic backdrop for our couple portraits with rows and rows of budding lilies and snapdragons. The orange and purple flower fields illuminated by the Colorado evening light was nothing short of absolute magic. Anna looked stunning in a full-sleeved lace gown by The Bridal Collection and some seriously lovely pieces of jewelry by a local favorite– Sarah O. Jewelry.
