Kayla + Dustin’s wedding was one for the books. These babes were married on a chilly Fall day at The Barn at Raccoon Creek. The morning started with Kayla + her bridesmaids sipping champagne, dancing, reminiscing and laughing while being pampered by the lovely ladies of Beauty Mark.
Kayla was an absolute dream to work with and we couldn’t get enough of her sweet personality, confidence and bold style! Enter Dusty— laid back and easy-going. It’s clear why these two ended up together— they complement each other so well. When you meet their families, it’s even more clear why they are the genuinely amazing people they are. They all brought such a wonderful enthusiasm to K+D’s wedding day (and quite a few happy tears!).
Colorado’s chilly Fall day created the perfect setting for Kayla + Dustin’s ceremony which was adorned with a stunning European mount, a beautiful lush greenery garland by Hawk Flowers, and accented with draped chiffon blowing in the fall breeze. Shaggy boho rugs were the final piece of the design and gave the ceremony location that bohemian vibe we adore. Kayla wore a stunner of a dress from one of our favorite designers— Rue de Seine. She had the gown customized to fit her bold style and we loved the draped sleeves she added to make it her own! Dusty’s all black attire complete with bolo was perfection alongside Kayla’s eye-catching dress. Kayla’s close relationship with her brother made him the obvious choice to officiate their ceremony. He, of course, incorporated all the personal details he could into their ceremony— talking about their favorite concerts at Red Rocks and all those funny ‘growing up with sibling’ stories (can’t pass up an opportunity like that!).
After a chilly outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour began and guests were invited inside to the equally beautiful boho inspired reception area. More greenery, gold accents, chiffon draping and a king’s table backdrop lit with the words ‘It Was Always You’ completed the look inside. Their wedding cake also matched the bold designs— a 2-tiered geode inspired wedding cake by Azucar Bakery. Kayla, Dustin and all of their guests danced the night away and took all the photos in one of our favorite photo booth options— The Shutterbus.
