We have so. much. love. for Shelby + Andy. We initially chatted with Shelby last summer and understood the feel her and Andy were going for immediately. An outdoor farm wedding, food truck, beautiful personal touches, and a whole lot of fun surrounded by family. In fact, their day was so family-centric—I don’t think we’ve ever seen a more musically talented bunch than the Black family! Shelby had her sisters sing for her ceremony entrance and her other siblings played guitar and sang for their first dances. Andy’s father officiated and their fathers and uncles then prayed over them during the ceremony.
Shelby has such a great vision and incorporated so many personal details into their day. The groom’s father built the gorgeous octagon arch you see in the photos below. Her guest tables were adorned with slate plates, vintage blue and blush goblets, hexagon tiles notating guest seats, and knotted napkins. The bride also made gold geometric shapes that were hung around the tent and used as centerpieces down the middle of the guest tables. The bridesmaids wore THE CUTEST matching fringed orange robes as they shared laughs and champagne with Shelby. One of our favorite personal touches was the mini-tipi that Shelby got to surprise her flower girls. After it was discovered, I don’t think they left it the entire night!
