We know the dilemma. You have to host a bar for 150 of your closest friends and family and are searching for that perfect signature cocktail to wow them. How do you please everybody? We understand it can be overwhelming trying to find the right recipes to offer! We’ve pulled together a short list of our top 3 signature drinks recipes of the season and a couple tips and tricks to make the bar planning easier on you too.
Check them out here:
Vodka Lavender Lemonade
Tip #1: Choose recipes that don’t require a TON of speciality ingredients: That’s right. The fancy cocktail that has a laundry list of 28 different ingredients is going to be a tricky one to recreate for your guest list. We recommend choosing classic cocktails that are delicious and easy to make!
Last of the Oaxacans
Tip # 2: Choose spirits that are versatile: If you choose a vodka or whiskey to use in your signature cocktails, you can offer additional mixers behind the bar for those looking for the standards like a whiskey + coke or a vodka + tonic.
Aperol Spritz
Tip # 3: Pick something that YOU want to drink. We cannot stress this enough. It is easy to get caught up in the planning details and take advice from everyone else. If you are a fan of that IPA but worried your out of town guests won’t drink it, offer a variety of bottled or canned beers instead of kegs so there is something available to suit everyone’s tastes– including yours!
We’d love to hear your thoughts! What are your favorite drink recipes of the season?
