Today on the blog, we’re looking back on the gorgeous wedding of one of very own lead planners. Our girl Darcy loves a good party— which means she knows how to throw a good party. Darcy + Cory were married at The St Vrain in Longmont— an industrial, modern venue with well thought out touches everywhere you look. From their first look nook and stylish lounge seating to the cross-back chairs and wood farm tables, this place has it all. Naturally, it seemed like the perfect spot for them to make it official!
Darcy is the lead designer of root + gather events; she personally has a love for clean, minimalist designs which shown through in her own wedding design. We loved how all of her bridesmaids wore varying styles of white dresses alongside her stunning, customized lace wedding gown from Emma & Grace. Can we talk about that awesome lace-up deep v neckline for just a second?! 10/10.
To these two, candlelight was an important element to bring into their day Who doesn’t love dinner by candlelight to set the perfect romantic mood? Hundreds of candles lined their ceremony aisle and adorned their guest tables which created a cozy, inviting vibe for all of their closest friends and family. One of our favorite details had to be the European skull mount hanging above them as they exchanged vows which was softened by candlelight, crystal chandeliers, and the gorgeous dark wood backdrop at The St Vrain.
As guests arrived for the ceremony, they were greeted with pre-ceremony drinks— a glass of champagne or a Bud Light (hey, got to cover all of your guest preferences you know!). The evening continued into the beautiful basement level of The St Vrain for cocktail hour. With a built in bar, comfy furniture, and a heel-friendly outdoor courtyard, this venue let’s you utilize every inch of it’s gorgeous space for your event.
Of course, dancing was a priority for these guys and Cameron of 5280 Mobile DJ brought it for them! Darc + Corey danced the night away with their friends and family as they stepped into newly married life.
