Cora + Kendall’s Farmette wedding day was the perfect embodiment of Fall— and a wedding that had been in the works for over 2 years. From the dark purple and burgundy hues of Cora’s bouquet to the cherry pie they served for dessert, their wedding included so many of the details we love. As a previous floral designer and current landscape designer, it was no surprise that Cora had such an incredible vision when it came to their wedding flowers—- and who better to knock it out of the park than Lace & Lilies?! Seriously. Be ready to swoon.
Both Cora + Kendall got their wedding day look from the fabulous Ember Hairstream— a mobile beauty parlor (the most adorably adorned vintage airstream) that offers on-site hair and makeup to brides in addition to barber services for the guys. Such a fabulous experience! The beautiful triangle arch was built by the bride’s father (and of course, would be repurposed later for some landscaping design in their own family yard)! The triangle shape was also symbolic as it tied into Cora + Kendall’s ring tattoos- which they opted for instead of traditional bands. We also adored the texture and definition that the pampas grass lining the aisle created for their ceremony. It was the perfect accompaniment to the hand built arch made from reclaimed lumber.
More fun details included signature cocktails— an Old Fashioned + a Floradora (a gin cocktail made with muddle raspberries and lime juice). Instead of doing a father/daughter dance, Cora and her dad sang “Teach Your Children” together which was so. sweet.
Cheers, Cora + Kendall! We loved being a part of your day! Fabulous vendor team listed below.
